Installation Instructions

There are 2 possible methods to install the update, please follow either set of the instructions below:

Method 1: From the tablet

• Access this page directly from the tablet supplied with your Arborcheck system
• Click the title above to download the APK file. The tablet will warn you that files of this type can harm your device - accept this warning
• In the Apps screen, tap Downloads and locate the Arborcheck APK download
• Tap the APK once to install. If you have the Unknown Sources option disabled in the Security Settings, you will be prompted to change this before the installation continues
• Accept the messages that detail what the App will access on your device to allow the update to continue.

Method 2: From the PC

Please note that this method requires a 3rd party File Manager App to be installed on the tablet before proceeding.

• Download the Arborcheck App APK file from this page to your PC
• Connect the tablet to your PC via the USB cable supplied as part of the tablet charger
• The PC will automatically install the necessary driver sets. Once complete, the tablet will appear in Windows Explorer
• Locate the downloaded Arborcheck App APK file and copy it to the Windows clipboard
• In Windows Explorer, click the tablet device and open the Internal Storage folder. Locate the Downloads folder and paste in the Arborcheck App APK file
• On the tablet, open the File Manager App and locate the Downloads folder to show the Arborcheck App APK file
• Tap the APK once to install. If you have the Unknown Sources option disabled in the Security Settings, you will be prompted to change this before the installation continues
• Accept the messages that detail what the App will access on your device to allow the update to continue.
